It was okay, I wish they hadn’t skipped the relationship growing, it felt super rushed going from his feeling changing person within one small chapter that didn’t have much in it

reading her is like trying to piece back a fever dream out of disjointment. the end product is very pretty, but also frustratingly opaque. it suffuses all her stuff, that glissando-like quality: not exactly stream-of-consciousness, but i don't know how else to describe it - vignettes being strung by a very thin narrative thread, and far too many blank spaces in between. in small doses it's a grace note, and her perambulatory josei sensibilities are a welcome departure from the briskness of contemporary yaoi, but here it's at its worst. i can feel a migraine coming.

The characters are almost round, but not quite. Due to my meddling in ships having to do with certain demonic servants and spoiled young masters, I enjoyed this one a little more. It was a good read, but not good enough for a second go. 4/10
