A girl's mother dies which leaves her in the care of her new lady crazy step dad. A lot of icky scenes and I almost stoped reading several times cuz I was afraid they would end up together.... It never happened and there were some pretty nice bonding moments between them as father and daughter. The ending was wierd and sort of came from nowhere..
