Being an artist too (music, charcoal sketch art) I absolutely LOVED these. I loved swing emotion expressed through art and this was a great combo of great writing and drawing. Awesome

Both stories were really cute.

The main couple Yasukuni and Tomokazu first meet in middle school and for two months they had a burgeoning relationship that ended before they knew what was happening to them. Seven years later they meet again in college and Yasukuni immediately recognizes Tomokazu although the other pretends he doesn't know him. Later Yasukuni is at work and hears Tomokazu's name and confronts him about the lie. They continue as sorts of friends because neither has yet to bring up the past until Yasukuni takes the leap. They are just too cute to fall in love so young and to constantly think of that person until they meet again.

The side couple Amou and Fujii are really cute too.

Two stories, both centered around artists and life at art college.
The first story opens on a remote rural island, where a high school student befriends a shy, awkward transfer student who wants to become an artist. Suddenly, after two blissful months, the transfer student disappears, and the friend who is left behind, inspired by his love for his friend, decides to leave the island to go to an arts college. At this arts college, whom should he meet but his friend, only his friend is cold and distant, and won't even acknowledge that they know one another. This was... a good story, although I thought that more could have been done to expand upon what had happened in the transfer student's life a bit more explicitly. Much is suggested, but as it is the resolution comes very quickly, and while I was glad of the happy ending, I thought suggested depths that it didn't explore. Still, as I said, it is reasonably good.
The second story takes place in college, a love story between a painter who feels unacknowledged by his father and a pottery student who fills that void. Again, a fairly good story that suggests certain motifs that aren't really followed through in the narrative.
All in all, while a little more depth and exploration of the characters would have tipped these stories from good to great, they are nice enough reads. The art is very stylized and pleasant to look at, if not hyper-realistic (yaoi hands aplenty, but it didn't really bother me given the motif of the story; exaggeration seems to be called for). Recommended if you want something sedate and sweet, with a little tendril of melancholy (for the backstories - the endings are happy). Also, absolutely no rape/dubcon.

The first story was good but the ending was rushed. The second story was nice.

Chapter 5&6 is a pointless side story. Basically just a cute story that is only a jumbled tease lacking clarity in what is real and a dream with a plot that jumps around nebulously.
