For some reason I can only only read up until page 146 of 194. I ends abruptly at the part where Sensei is giving supplementary lessons to the delinquents. Right when he tells them all to shut up.
The relationship at its core seemed cute...however this story felt incredibly rapey. The older I get the more I realise the horrors of rape and it becomes so much harder to ignore in a story that uses rapey actions over and over as a plot device and implies actual rape in the ukes past so casually as though it had little effect on the character. I didnt check the publishing date, but it feels old and dated. I know a lot of people like to compare complaints of rape to stories like Killing Stalking, but there is a big difference between rape being depicted as no more notable than being bumped into and it being shown as a grotesque thing.
Miyashita sensei was always an overachiever, but his perfect life was disrupted when he met his desired-filled student, Jindou. Trying his best to keep Jindou back on track, sensei had to guide Jindou personally as well as to fend off his ex-partners. Love developed as time went by, but sensei kept a distance from Jindou by trying his best to maintain an innocent relationship between them. Would Jindou succeed in breaking down sensei's territory?
