I think there are far better ways to know love than sex , i know kid come in between them he was only kid who make two adults end up together again i think i like how haruji is seke also i think kid should have ended up with his friend rather than screwing himself around by adults and calling himself not gay even though he give away his ass to everyone. Well that was harsh lol but i think i liked it cuz i didn't expect those seme and seke to end up together.
I dunno why so few good votes on this. It is a deeply moving kinda introspective piece of a guy caught in a hopeless love. With an emotional maturity about the whole triangle. The art is kinda old school but the story is engaging and so it doesn't really distract
A sexually adventurous and emotionally frank 16 year old boy initiates a sexual relationship with his cram school teacher, who is adamant that things remain purely sexual between them. As time goes on, the student comes to realize that this cram school teacher is the man whom his regular high school teacher had an affair with years ago, and that neither had been honest with their feelings.
With its simple, stylized drawings and a broodingly introspective atmosphere, this is quite an unusual drama. The 16 year old's sexual and romantic odyssey is a about sex and emotional attachment and detachment, about the difference between kinds of like and kinds of love. It is quite mature in its sensibilities, a rare yaoi love triangle where the framing and main POV character (although we get glimpses from everyone's POV at some point or another) doesn't end up paired with either of the two other main characters. There is an absolutely refreshing lack of jealousy, pettiness, or overblown reactions. No one is the bad guy, and I found the main character genuinely interesting and engaging (an impressive feat; I am leery of teenagers in BL, since they tend to be flat and/or written like adults).
I highly recommend this if you want BL that is more a meditation on the nature of love and sex than an indulgent fantasy about love and sex. I don't think that this is a particularly sad story at all, but it definitely has a more sober, messy, and realistic picture of relationships than a lot of other BL - and its so much the better for it.
No rape/dubcon whatsoever, although one of the characters is underage.
