Readers beware. This is an absolute mess. It is out of order. Which makes the plot line jump all over the place. While I am grateful that people upload these the least they can do is upload them in proper order.
Summary: Till death us do part. A solemn wedding vow, and one Lord Deverell's young bride ardently wishes to bring about - sooner rather than later! Only minutes after the wedding, Alexandra is brandishing a pistol at her husband, accusing him of ruining her father and killing her brother. So Deverell makes one more, wholly unexpected, vow: that he's completely innocent of both crimes and will prove it.
4 star story- 2 star upload (8/21 UPDATE: Reloaded as 2 books, pages in order, under its English title)- So after nearly 10 years, it is finally completely uploaded, but the 2nd chap is plagued by the same problem as the 1st, that is a few pages out of sequence - you can still get the gist of what you need to know from those sections, but it loses the flow and feels all jumbled. By the end, you've got enough to enjoy the finale, but a shame it had to happen in both chapters. That said, it was a decent story.
