I've read the novel. Although, I like the steamy part but still quite disappointed with the story because of infidelity, violence, and manipulation.

This manhua's updates are so slow, I have already read the novel instead. . honestly a tragic story, a so-so end, not a depressing one at least(for me) bcoz they ended up together though Lu Cang had to face a lot of cruelties in future and inhumane treatment

Very, very violent rape. As in, lots of blood. And torture. And humiliation. And of course the rape makes the guy gay. Absolutely not.
