This is a very strange manga qualitywise. It starts as a pretty silly harem story with your typical hordes of the most beautiful and smart girls falling for no apparent reason for a guy who is at best average. The background story itself is not that bad but suffers from bad jokes some of which are so annoyingly stupid that I really had to struggle to continue reading on. Interestingly enough, the story gets better and better, the completely stupid jokes less and less and around the middle I was hooked. The main hero still sometimes acts so stupid that it hurts. But the general progression of the story is more logical. The chapters around the last parts are really good. The story becomes meaningful, the characters have developed, everything makes sense and even the jokes are on an acceptable level. In the end I'm glad I found the power to struggle through the annoying parts in the first half. Had the story been on the level of the last chapters for the whole time, it would deserve at least four stars. But the first half is so annoying at times that it doesn't deserve more than three as a whole.
