Yes, I consider this child rape because they are teenagers. And forcing teenagers into prostitution is child rape.

And that disgusting excuse of a human, slept with his older cousin's son. Basically his nephew, basically incest. Disgusting. And he still wants to continue to do that after the guy comes of prostition and knowing he loves someone very dearly. Disgusting piece of $hit.

When authors want to draw a seme who is a prostitute or was raped or was an uke before, why do they almost always choose the light haired guy to the seme. I hardly see this happening to dark haired semes. Twisted case of racial domination and fetishism.

Interesting plot. Quite light read for angsty subject. The romance is sweet.

Two pretty boys that loved each other the best way they could. It took a long time but I'm happy for them 8.5/10

It gets 5 stars because the ending is nice but the uke is so damn dumb, I could cry. To begin with he's a tsundere, a very extreme one. He overreacts about everything in ways that are sure to get him into trouble, considering his position. At one point he even stupidly tries to run away with no plan, of course he gets caught and tortured, and I was just surprised it didn't happen sooner (the punishment part). He supposedly becomes a top courtesan and I wonder how because from what we see he's terrible at acting. Even when he's with a customer he just looks sad and it's obvious he's disinterested in being there, I can't imagine why anyone would be attracted by that, enough to pay for it. Then there's the scenes when the seme gets close to other men (although, they're courtesans so obviously they have to sleep with customers) and he overreacts and treats the seme like shit, calling him slut, saying things like he doesn't want to be touched by dirty hands.
Then there was the fakeout in ch9 where the story makes you think they were actually acting out a drama the whole time but they're really together! It's was just a dream though!
I'm also not certain about the time period for this story. Supposedly it should be in the edo period? I can excuse the suits because I guess western clothes were coming in, but then there's the sky scrapers, and the very modern looking car, not to mention modern clothing peppered through the story, too.
Well, at least the ending is nice and the seme is bearable compared to the uke

WOW!! STORYTELLING 10/10 THEY ARE BOTH SO BEAUTIFUL THIS WAS SO GOOD TO READ KICHOU WAS ALWAYS SO SWEET AND HE MADE A LOT OF SACRIFICES THIS WAS PERFECT I LOVED THE ENDING

the entire time I am irritated of Kagerou's tsundere and prideful personality. I mean that's how he is written but seriously? No chara development? Not a fan of tsunderes. The lines are also all over the place. It's like dragging to read it, maybe it's the translation but idk. This is a feedback of the manga btw, not a complain.
