The calm, composed and shrewd restaurant owner, Hatakeyama, is in love with Yamasaki, the cool, beautiful chef from a rival restaurant. In the past, Hatakeyama tried to embrace him and Yamasaki hates him for it. Despite this, Hatakeyama refuses to give up and aims to start again as friends. Although Hatakeyama often asks him out to eat, Yamasaki still doesn't show any interest in him... but what happens when a cool, good-looking fellow chef appears?

I extremely enjoyed the whole series, starting with the ever so cute lil tomato Kazuha who loves cucumber and
the forceful yet sweet Honguo and the pretty but awkward Yamasaki and the ever persistent Shinichi. Love everything.

MASTERPIECE unexpectedly wholesome and uke is more realistic

I don't get what the others hate about the uke. He's strong, tough, and shy. He's very dedicated to his work and priotizes it over everything. I actually like this more than the first book because the story in this one have some depth. It is a bit frustrating since the uke is a tough nut to crack but the seme is very persistent. I don't really mind his persistency because he keeps getting a reaction from the uke so I understand.( Seme also respects the uke and the uke's dream) The manga is funny, side characters are fun, seme and uke are cute especially when they got together, they were so akward! If you want to read this, I suggest taking a look at the first book (its about the uke's restaurant manager and another emoloyer) since there's a bit of yamazaki and hatakeyama's past told there.

The uke was the worst part of this manga lol. Seme prolly severed better but they were a good couple in the end I guess.
