I own volumes, keychains, mugs, and posters of this series. As a fellow classical musician, I fell in love with the anime adaptation’s ost. It’s not ridiculously long, and the story is well paced and developed. It’s not cringey. The protagonists are not over-powered, and they don’t over shadow other characters. The art is to my liking; It’s not overly detailed and heavy. Instead, it’s delicate and easy to understand and use your imagination.

HOLYY SHITTTT THIS IS A FUCKING MASTERPIECE I SWEAR ITS BEEN A WHILE SINCE I READ A MANGA LIKE THIS

This one's gonna stay with me for the rest of my life. Recently did a reread and I had to skip certain chapters because I was not (still isn't) ready to have my heart broken all over again. There were so many meaningful things I didn't get when I was 15, but I now understood perfectly as a grownup. I'll forever have a fascination with pocket watches and music boxes and rabbit plushies. This will always be one of my eternal favorites.
