This is, and has been one of my most favorite yaoi manga's ever made! the story is so well told, and how the romance between Hikaru and Leo grows over time is so beautiful! The story also has many funny and inspiring moments. The art is gorgeous, and I can't tell you how many times I have read this manga over and over! The mangaka did such a fantastic job with this yaoi, it is truly a masterpiece, The only thing I would change about this manga, is that I would continue the story, and make it and ongoing manga, but that's the thing about all good things, they have to come to an end sometime....
it's not that bad but i found it a bit too dramatic for my tastes (and the lessons reminded me of my real life circumstances that i keep running away from so LMAO)
This would be 5 star but it's too short and also at the part where Hikaru tried to kiss Leo , Leo pushed him. doesn't he like Hikaru? It says that the person Leo will kiss when his birthdays come is his marriage partner and i know that Hikaru isnt his soon to be bride, but it's not like Leo has someone in his mind to marry anyway then why he pushed Hikaru? Is he unsure of his feelings? That part was unclear to me.
One day Hikaru, an employee in a Travel Agency, trips over the handsome foreigner Leo in a park and takes him home out of the kindness of his heart. Leo acts like a young master, and generally displays outrageous behavior of being an over all squanderer.
Adult x 19-20 year old. This is gagarrific shoujo melodrama of yester year staring a long haired bishi (which I tend to dislike). The art seems more old-timey than the release year of the manga, 1980s era vs 2008? The story is ridiculous, rushed, the relationship doesn't feel genuine. I just can't get behind their feelings because it seems more like lust than love. Also mild stockholm syndrome here. The character design of the uke is appealing, and their connection via a few different interactions, like the "thank you" subplot and the uke's tenacity in getting his job subplot are well done. But I can't take this story seriously even though the story is completely serious.
