Idk man, at first I thought the plot was very good, but through the story I was confused the whole time at the same time bored(?) I guess. Maybe this is not the manhwa I'm usually reading
Storyline covers the many, deep, personal issues of several characters. The baker seems sweet and almost innocent when he is introduced, yet he has a dark, and violent past. The comic writer is the first character introduced. He seems like a quiet, everyman kind of character, but also has a dark, painful past. I was a bit disappointed that the baker and comic writer hooked up so quickly, though. No romance there. The story is so multifaceted, it could have gone on for several more chapters, if not a whole separate manga. Glad the bakers high school sweetheart found love. Hopefully, everyone will be happy.
this is pretty experimental and only sort-of romance, which explains a lot of the bad reviews of this. it is actually very interesting and contains a variety of unique characters. theres a lot of juxtaposition of the past onto the protagonists manga art and his life, and how the past repeats and becomes the present. its more interested in exploring the dysfunctional choices and sympathetic motives of its characters than it is in providing a neat happy ending. though, there is a neat happy ending for most of the characters! the problem that made me deduct a star is that the characters act so realistically they frequently lie and assume things incorrectly in a way that you then have to assume is truth and only find out isnt much later in the story, which is confusing. i really liked and was struck by the sudden lesbian story in the aftermath. it was very hot! warning, this story depicts homophobia and abuse within gay relationships as well as child abuse. as well, a teenage character seems to be a sex worker who sleeps with adults but its not shown explicitly.
Ok so this is my review on this webtoon.... ok so I loved it. I especially loved the main couple sooo much but I hate the sister with purple hair. The ending for the guy with gold eyes was some bullshit. The guy with gold eyes should have ended up with the guy with grey hair and the sister should have ended up alone. She was a total bitch and didn’t deserve a happy ending. Oh I’m also happy that the character that got beat up by his dad found love.
After learning more about the baker and about his obsession with long here I'm not a fan. He should of left this guy cause he obviously not a stable person
I have read the other work from this artist and I like it a lot, but this one, maybe cos it's the 1st was a little bit hectic, like I didn't comprehend some parts, but still was a really nice piece of work!
I didn't expect that the ending would go like that haha. It's really refreshing for me. goongha's sister was genius as hell, she really planned everything smoothly and according to it's own place. Aside from the main couple, I'm really rooting for moran and yoo jin, I really love cute buff guys falling for a pretty uke like yoo jin hihi. Nice one mr./ms. Author, this one turned out to be one of my favorites.
