One of the BEST manga I have ever read... and let me tell you... this coming from a PURELY Yaoi and Shounen-ai Addict... this is incredible! 10 of 5 stars... bring a box o' tissues for the last 3-4 chapters, and buckle up for an emotional whirlwind kiddies! This is a masterpiece for the ages!!!!! ^.^

Spoilers: I LOVED this show as a kid but I grew up eventually to find out how screwed up it is. Sis chose her brother over a perfectly sane and non-blood related love interest. Yes she does end up with Zero but she still chose Kaname. Imagine living as the second choice always, poor Zero. Their bloodline really did deserve to end, you can’t fight me on that. The series overall had TWO functional relationships, Sayori & Aido and Rima & Shiki. I hope they had the best. As an adult, I can fully say I loathe Yuki, not just for picking her brother, but for making Zero feel like he’s second to her brother.

To all the people who wanted kaname with Yuki... yall need help like wtf. Also, Yuki honey it's a love triangle not a threesome, the whole point was that you had to choose one, not handle one and lead the other on. Zero deadass deserved better, ong treated like the 2nd option EVERYTIME even when kaname was in ice.

Some characters are interesting, the drawings are beautiful, and part of the story is nice. However, the instant Yuki turns back into a vampire, I felt discomfort and a lack of interest. The story was way too focused on her feelings, even though there was much more to develop on. And as many others, I didn't like the ending.

Yes, it can be difficult to know where our feelings are in our life. But I saw Yuki as a characterless girl without conviction, who'd rather commit suicide than ask herself the good questions, nor choosing between the two boys. All in all, definitely not a manga for me.

hated the anime

I absolutely loved this series TEAM KANAME!

I really love the anime but I am very disappointed with the ending of this manga. I still love and side Kaname in this manga no matter how old I've grown.

I think the back and forth between kaname and zero irritated me. Like you make a ship then sink it, so i start building another ship and you sink that one too... I kinda honestly wished that when Kaname was frozen, Zero went and found someone else.

Soo everyone pretty much dies in the end, kaneme wakes up to his sisters (yuki) daughter (his kid too eww) and he also wake up to her son (yuki and zeros kid) and this is 1000 years later after yuki gave her life to save him and zero just dies so it’s not worth it don’t read

The worst ending in manga history.. the writter being so indecisive is awful and embarrassing. Please don't waste your time reading this shit and even goes for the anime. Season 1 was okay

Terrible ending

It was a while ago I read it as far as I remember it was pretty good. Good characters, beautiful art, interesting, kinda angsty and more bloody and serious than most other shoujo. Kinda tragic as well. There was a heart throbbing love triangle but unfortunately I thought it didn't really get resolved very well. I really rooted for the white haired guy! I think the main weakness is the ending which felt messy and rushed. I heard there is a sequel though so I'll probably check it out.

Hmmmm, idk where or which chapter it did go bad for me. It's kind fo weird for me to read something about siblings falling in love with each other or in-family relationships. Maybe it's okay if it's cousins but Rido(?), Haruka(?) and Juuri are...were siblings. Like siblings-siblings. It was to preserve the pureblood Kuran bloodline but still...ugh. Also, "Kaname" Kuran of the present Kuran's and Yuuki are also siblings. Yuuki was conceived to be her brother's bride lol and then their uncle Rido(?? Srsly, I forgot their names already) took the baby "Kaname" and performed some kind of trick or magic and made the "Kaname" Kuran ancestor reborn thru the baby "Kaname". It's kind of acceptable for me for "Kaname" and Yuuki to be together since technically the ancient "Kaname" was the one Yuuki fallen in love with. ALSO WTH ZERO DESERVES MORE ARGHHHHH

Wow I just did not like this at all, it was painfully boring, almost as ridiculous as Twilight. I can see how people would like this though, I just wasn’t a fan.
