One of the few mangas that understands what comedy should invoke in the reader. Laughter and more Laughter !!!If you are dreaming of a wife who knows how to do housework, never complain of chores and always make sure that are you well fed.. Remember that you asked for it , So don't complain if you have to pay a hefty price for it ??
series timeline: -- 1. Yome ni Konai ka: keigo is single and one day mentions that it would be nice to have a wife to greet him when he returned home. That day he comes home to be greeted by a smiling man welcoming him home and the man says that he will be keigos husband (wife) -- 2. Gofukuya no Yome -- 3. Ryoushi no Yome (untranslated) -- 4. Wagashiya no Yome (untranslated)
Two couples: coworkers; and an old-timey arranged marriage between two guys. These stories work best as comedies. There's a lot of tongue-in-cheek here. And the other plays it schlocky much of the time, allowing the completely ridiculous and implausable circumstances to be fine because no one is expecting anything reasonable or realistic here. Mother-in-law of story 2 is the mvp hilarity; her facial expressions and reactions are the best. This is probably a 3.5 manga realistically, but I'll bump it to 4 because it was delightful in many places.
Vol. 1 Keigo is single and one day mentions that it would be nice to have a wife to greet him when he returned home. That day he comes home to be greeted by a smiling man welcoming him home, and the man says that he will be Keigo's wife!
