The whole setup is just ridiculous. A 17 years old, totally foreign girl, by chance starts to live with a 13 years old boy who just happens to live alone in his house. That is so implausible that it's funny again. And it's not just the beginning. All of this story is just hilarious.
But, at the same time, it's also a very sweet love story. A love overcoming the barriers of time and space so to speak.
