MASTERPIECE
Yes, the plot is pretty basic, but Yoneda Kou sensei express it elevates the manga. Every words, spoken or none, every shadow, a little bit of stroke in the character's faces, carefully thought.
5 star
Desire, confusion, longing, doubt, blended into one beautifully paced story. The only wrong thing about the manga is the title. Love takes time, it is not this manga is a slow starter, others are just too fast.
4 star
Drunk in love and passion surrounded by lights of nightclub and the sudden realization of the reality. A satisfying tale.
3.5 star
Great dark art style paired with ridiculously twisted story, I wish the gore match the atmosphere.
4 star
Aoi Aki sensei always suffer in story and character expression, yet excels in setting and atmosphere. This one manage to embolden her pros and somewhat hiding the cons.
5 star
Funny, charming, and touching with a subdue and simple yet impactful strokes, less is more indeed.
Worth Reading
(The few first volume is actually really good)
A few things just have stop faster, and this manga is one of them. Sadly it went on and on aimlessly, putting more twist than the mangaka herself can handle. If only it stops maybe at volume 4 or 5 then put a nice decent ending, this could be a more rewarding experience.
MASTERPIECE
Grounded and simple. Ike Reibun tells it the like the way it should and we know it is how it should be. A reminiscent of Yasujiro Ozu style.
4.5 star
Sometimes a melodrama and sometimes just a fun trashy story. Love how every character is sincere and every drawing is carefully drawn no matter how absurd the manga is. Gurl it’s camp.
MASTERPIECE
No comment for the Mother of the BL manga herself.
