Golf - The MC is pretty much a robot - Everything he does is with insane amount of precision & stoicism. A classmate of his encourages him to try golf, which he eventually does out of an almost scientific curiosity. Seeing his insane abilities, a pro golfer challenges, leading the MC to take an interest in the sport.
I personally don't think of golf as intense but this manga still manages to pull me in. The MC's OP abilities paired with his flat personality is unique & entert
Karate - The story of a gymnast who realizes he has no talent and decides to give up. Inspired instead by a rebellious martial artist, he is pulled into the world of karate, Although he at first may start completely clueless about the sport, his skills grow in leaps and bounds due to his acrobatic abilities and endless determination.
Awesome, detailed fight scenes and great story line.
No specifics - The MC is short, overweight, and constantly abused by bullies. When he moves to a new school, he fears that the vicious cycle will start once more. However, one awkward haircut changes his life. He wakes up the next morning to find he has two bodies, one normal, the other handsome and athletic.
This one isn't specifically about sports or martial arts, but there are a good number of scenes sprinkled throughout. Humor is top notch and the MC is extremely relatable.
