I don't often cry when reading manga, but this one did it for me.
A truly beautiful story, although quite painful along the way. It's ironic that I listed this one first in this list, as it includes both cheating and rape, but at least they're presented as serious topics.
A young wild boy is adopted in Canada. He becomes very attached to his new older brother, but that guy develops amnesia and forgets all about him. After moving to Japan, they come in contact again, meet more of the complicated family... and a lot of other stuff happens too. A plot with lots of interesting twist and turns. Has a definite shotacon vibe, but manages to not cross over to distasteful, at least in my opinion.
This was the first epic-length yaoi I ever read. Honestly, I find Onodera Ritsu pretty annoying, but Kisa Shouta is my favorite, so it all evens out!
If I had to choose, I like this one better than Sekaiichi Hatsukoi. I feel invested in all three of the ongoing stories and all the ukes are (eventually) explicitly consenting. Not to mention that Misaki's Usami-pheromones really crack me up.
They had me at "Shy and socially awkward" in the description. I have a soft spot for people who don't know how to express themselves well. I also enjoy reading manga about making manga: I feel like the author must really understand, somehow.
I thought the art style worked really well for this story. The premise is unique (if a little strange) and it develops in an adorable way. I really like this mangaka's work.
These four brothers are really special to me. I like how each one feels unique with a distinct personality, without being caricatures or well-worn tropes.
I didn't discover this manga until after I had seen the characters appearing in cameo form in Bokura no Negai. I was glad to find the flower shop guys have their own stories.
The naive country boy goes to the big city to work at the restaurant that is using his family's vegetables. The world he finds there is completely different from what he expected, but he makes his own place among the romance and politics of Tokyo's restaurant scene.
Because of the maneuverings of his jealous ex-lover, Ewon "Fox" finds himself caught up as an underling in a mafia group. His problems are only beginning... It took me a while to warm up to the angular art style, but the story is interesting.

Thank you for this list, I seem to like the same kinds of yaoi and shounen-ai ^^
You're welcome! I started out making the list just for my own tracking of manga I like, but I"m glad if you find it useful ^_^

i have a question! where did you find chapters 9-16 of fusoku no renjou in french?
It was scanlated by this group: http://www.teamfairyrose.com/projets/seriesfinies/fusoku-no-renjou/
But you have to jump through some hoops to get access to the forum where they post it. Dunno if that helps, but that's where I found it.
