Not too much an anti-hero so much as an unexpected hero with a tragic past. Great mix of action, romance, and, as a bonus, the "intelligent" parts of the plot (namely the political backdrop) is really well crafted and seems like the author put a lot of thought into it.
Words can't describe how much I love this manga! It's one of the most touching I've ever read-I blubbered like a baby every chapter! Really, this is the ideal example of the anti-hero genre. Plus, all the German words allow me to use studying for language class as a convenient excuse ;)
This is a pretty heavy manga. Not just theme wise, either. The plot and its political under/overtones really require you to pay some attention to really get maximum benefit from the manga...or you could ignore the difficult dialogue and enjoy the well drawn action scenes. Those are pretty cool
Is this anti-hero? I'm not too sure where to classify this as the MC doesn't have an even remotely tragic past. Let's just call him a surprise hero then. Either way, this manga will have your sides splitting from laughter! I usually can't read more than a few chapters at a time, any more and I'd get stomach cramps XD
What can I say about this manga? 1. It's hilarious 2. Gender bender 3. Just read it. You won't regret it!
This is an interesting one as you're following 6 (if I remember correctly) young women's quest for vengeance along with the master teaching them. Really well done action scenes, I swear you can almost see/feel the characters' movement.
