At its core, this is a stunning portrayal of true love thriving even in one of the most toxic environments. It's the story of the guitarist and vocalist of an indie band, which embraces numerous dark and heavy themes. It has a throughly planned, intricate plot, with multiple povs revealed gradually to build up tension, visual metaphors that just make the best out of the comic format & delivery of raw, genuine feelings.

A premise you've seen in other 100 manga before: MC adopts a dog and, to no reader's surprise, turns into a human when the sun sets. But this one effortlessly takes the plot to the next level. Before you know it, you're already invested in a werewolf's struggle to find his place of belonging and a film noir-like mafia thriller.

The world as we knew it had been engulfed by cold and darkness, giving vampires the opportunity to rise from the shadows and take the reins of society. Humans are now stock whose blood is being stored in blood banks. Despite this gloomy setting, an unlikely romance sprouts between a seemingly human banker and a sweet & kinky masochistic vampire lord.

The whole development between the good-looking Yuri and the ugly (freakin' adorable) Jaerim was food for my heart. From annoyance to utter confusion and mild crushing bloomed the heartwarming love story of an incredibly persistent, righteous and precious guy capable of picking up the broken pieces of the other.

"You're here. That's all that matters. You said that, and kissed me. And so our second summer came."

Sweetest slice of life about two polar opposites who fall in love for the first time and develop a touching and healthy relationship during and after highschool.

Kaburagi and Onoe are a team of reporters who went from one sided rivalry on Onoe's part and constant bickering to one of the cutest couples I saw in a manga. Their personalities complement each other and slowly develop an adorable well-functioning relationship. They communicate, listen and sincerely care about each other and I couldn't have asked for more :')

"I want to be a grown up faster...become stronger...so that I can protect you."

This manhua is set on pro-level high quality humour and comedy gag. It's gut-busting! I feel like my days brighten whenever a new chapter is updated. And for the first time in my life I feel happy waiting like a good child because Old Xian always surprises (aaaand teases) us in the best possible ways!
