A2: All the (BEST, IMO) HARLEQUIN (&ish) I've read (R&R 1 of 3)

[Love Mansion 1- To Marry a Stranger] ONE SHOT [5*] - This one is truly sweet and sappy with all the stereotypical ingredients - innocent woman, scarred (in this case, literally) male, callous rival, flavored with a little melodrama, and all wrapped in the whimsical fantasy of a love superstition. Despite this all this, I still come back to reread it. It's all sugar - no saccharine... well, except where expected , lol.

Books 1 & 2 (loaded in 6 chaps) [5*] - The Baron of Sedgewick created a fictional wife to keep from being hounded, so who is this woman redecorating his house and calling herself the Baronness? Such a confluence of coincidence, but still a lovely story, and long enough to involve you a bit more than most. No BBV... sorta.... I mean they were(n't) married... technically. Just read it.

One shot [5*] - She fell in love on a moonlit night, but had to cast that love aside to save her family. 12 years later, as her step-daughter gets engaged, moonlight reveals the man again.

5 chap [5*] - Phil raised and married off her 3 sisters and can now look for love herself. Her new boss is handsome, but because of temporary blindness, he can't see and is convinced she is much more mature... but that is something he can accept if it will save his son. Will she agree to marry him to save a child?

2 chaps [5*] - One of my favorites - Natasha is forced to work with an arrogant, distrustful Best Man to complete her duties as Maid of Honor at her best friend's wedding, but as she gets to know him, she begins to learn there are good reasons for both his arrogance and his distrust.

ONE SHOT (5*)- When the rich, arrogant politician planning to evict her and shut down her restaurant shows up on her doorstep without his memory, the heroine gives in to her brother's plan to show him how the other half lives. You get to see a good, strong relationship grow here, and it doesn't involve a bed.

One-shot (5*)- When her 10 years estranged husband stumbles through her door with a fever one dark and stormy night, she thinks he's delirious when he says he wants his wife back, but he's not. He needs to 'reconcile' with his wife to keep a business deal afloat, so she agrees in return for a divorce when all is done.

13 chaps (5*)- He runs adult-only resorts and so intended to send his niece and nephew to a kids' resort while their parents were on vacation, but plans change when his attempt to buy a family friendly camp he wants to remodel into an adult only hunting resort stalls. Instead he'll use the kids to make them think he's a family oriented right buyer... but the kids' nanny has a plan of her own.

One-shot (5*) - Not knowing what to do with her life, she accepts a job for her father - a live-in house keeper for a software specialist who is babysitting his niece and nephew while their mother gets medical treatment out of country. One problem. The specialist turns out to be the boy who humiliated her at prom. Can they get along? A good lighthearted story that shows you don't need BBV (Bed Before Vows) to spin a good tale or build a good relationship.

ONE-SHOT (5*)- A touching redemption story about a secretary and CEO who notice each other after working in the same office for 10 years. She is just now recovering from losing her husband. He had a tragic childhood and doesn't really know what love is, but what is going to happen when she breaks the one condition he gave her for their marriage... no kids.
