Because I feel one day Yamane sensei will abandon this manga... We have to concern about her health.... from hiatus for two months, then four months, six months, and now more than six months, after that no more update.....and this manga will be forgotten...

RIP

For goodness sake stop being so over dramatic. You're making it sound as if she's dying when you dont even know the facts. she's currently preparing for the release of Vol 8 which will be released in Japan very soon. A lot of work goes into it, including new drawings, re-drawings, bonus material as well as an extra chapter. On top of this she's also updating Crimson Spell, her other manga which comes out bi-monthly with Chara magazine. She's doing SO MUCH already that she's more than entitled to take a bit of time off updating HER MANGA so that she can concentrate on giving her readers the best work possible. Give her a break.

Oh my god, shut the fuck up and get a life!

and yet, although she's been living from hiatus to hiatus, she is not giving her readers the best work possible. look at yamamoto kotetsuko, she juggles multiple mangas, and produces a 20+ page chapter almost every month (sometimes even 40 pages!) for all her different series, and yamane can't come up with more than 10 pages after 6 months?! crimson spell flatlined a long ass time ago, give me a break! she ''updates'' it? 5 pages once every 4-6 months?! riiiiiight.

Here's a newsflash for you: not all artists are alike. Shocking, right? Everyone has their own methods, their own pace at which they work best. Some artists can crank out the work. Some need more time for the work to develop. Comparisons like these are pointless. And tell me just exactly what this artist owes to you that you feel entitled to talk about her with such disgusting disrespect?

You might as well quit wasting your valuable time by reading this mangaka's works. I can confirm to you-- without a doubt-- that Yamane-sensei does not work hard for you, Anony. Sorry about that.

Sensei works hard for the fan who told her they read her work "as a means of changing her mood when nursing her older family members."

Sensei works hard for those who "come across something sad or difficult to endure." It makes her feel good to produce something that can picked up and enjoyed (and be heart-lifting) during such times.

Sensei works hard for those who *patiently* and happily support her (and hopefully, also financially... by purchasing her works).

I'll let others educate you on what's involved in producing each chapter of VF... how she's also been hard at work this year assisting in the release of the VF AniMix, completing drawings for the next VF tankōbon-- not to mention extra drawings, color plates, etc. for said volume. She's also doing extra paintings for magazine covers, fan posters, etc., etc.

Unlike most mass-produced manga, Sensei does not have a large team to assist her.

Not only that, she still manages to update Crimson Spell, alongside everything else she does. Even though it's not many pages, CS has been consistently released throughout most of this year (the latest 8 pages was just released a couple of weeks ago).

So as much as you fantasize Yamane-sensei as a couch potato, spending her leisurely days watching hours upon hours of Korean dramas while snacking on sweets... only occasionally, reluctantly, dragging her butt to drawing table, with a heavy sigh, to bang out a single panel per week just to shut up the editors and throw the fans a bone every once in a while, I can assure you this is not the case.

tl;dr -- And what have YOU contributed today? Move your ass along now.

Even if everything you said was true, I am grateful for what she does give us. I think she probably does what she can when she can. People all have different things going on and what works for one does not work for another.

I hate waiting too, but no one can create as fast as I can read. That's just how it goes.

Hilarious, not impress and entertained with words like gastroenterologist, antiquated and misogynist ( sweetie you aren't peaches -N- cream in this situation, don't count yourself out),but it shows that you know big words and words end with "ist" a lot. Some of us know big words too and chose not to be a show off. Congratulation.
