Sorry, I remember the post and recall reading a story with many similar features recently (within the past 4 months), but I can't remember the name. The part about the uke being shocked and withdrawing from their friendship was the main theme in the story I read. Also, he was insecure that his friend was pulling further and further ahead of him.

The trouble is that there are several stories with similar features, including Calorie by Sakuragi Yaya (which I'm pretty sure isn't the one you want), and possibly one by Suzuki Tsuta—mainly that the uke is shocked by the seme's confession, pulls away and then realizes he's lonely, jealous and sad without that companionship. Then there's this brief period where he needs to sort out the difference between friendship and being lovers. It's a really common trope. It's just that different mangaka have different ways of expressing it.

I am trying to find a yaoi manga. I remember this specific part this boy confesses to another who he had admired at first he refuses and so th protagonist starts to avoid him and watches him from afar he spends most of his time in the schools library with his friend who is the assistant I think, his friend tries to cheer him up and is seen hanging on each other by the guy he coffessed to. I remember the guy saying am I too late can I no longer accept your confession or something like that. I would really like to read this again if it sounds familiar to some one could you please tell me the name or send me a link it would be must appreciated! (〜￣△￣)〜
