Uhm can someone explain me why you guys love yuuri? Like she's stupid right and keep on crying. I'm in vol 2 so I guess you could say I'm just starting but if yuuri's gonna be like this the whole volume I'll drop this. I just wish some encouragement to continue reading this. Thnx in advance

Well, I'll agree that she's a huge crybaby, but it's pretty warranted, given her situation, and she actually does something about her situation instead of just letting things happen to her. Trust me, I can't stand crying either, but unlike most protagonists who just sit there and cry most of the story, she ends up gaining power and position by utilizing her strengths, both mental and physical.

Let me put it this way for the crying... if a normal person (with no particular skill set, like martial arts) were suddenly sucked into a strange world with no instruction manual, you wouldn't expect them to be okay with the situation they were in or kick-butt immediately. I suppose that's why I give her a pass for her being a crybaby.

Haha anyways, if the crying's going to piss you off a ton, I'd probably stop if I were you. But you're willing to wait a while 'til she gets a position of power, then I'd continue.

Yuri isn't the bravest person in the beginning, but think about it. She's fifteen and suddenly finds her self in another country way in the past, she has no idea what is going on and just wants to be back home with her family. That's totally understandable.

If you think you can wait a bit, I'd keep reading. This is one of my favorite manga, and Yuri is awesome; a role model. Yes, she can be annoying at times, yes, in the beginning she is as you put it "a crybaby" but, she grows so much over the course of the manga; she is much stronger in the end.
