Hey, why do you like this manga so much? I quiet don't get it. First he rapes him and feels sorry for what he did but later rape again. That guy says 'no' he says that many times and Moringa does the same thing... He is keeping on saying that he loves his Sempai but even so doesn't reckon with him and goes on. O o

Oh then no need to come in here and ask such question like we also don't need to ask you why you dislike. We don't care so you shouldn't care too. ^^

op is right. I think the mangaka messed up the story since the initial development. She should've just have gone for both of them getting drunk - no aphrodisiacs pls - and having sex that night. Then begin to build a slow relationship from there about Souichi coming to terms about his homophobia and sexuality, with Morinaga actually respecting Souichi and trying to help him without self-interest or pretentiously thinking "i know what's best for you" and disregarding the other person, like a true friend. I thought that was the point of the story. I would totally ship this. There are so many interesting scenarios that could be explored, instead of events like the rape and fire being just played for drama effect in a wrong way. I would love to see the developing of a strong, super-trustful and healthy emotional bond between them, true friendship, a very intimate selfless close relationship, rooted on their colleague relation and Souichi's insecurities and Morinaga's genuine fondness, that would go as far as they wanted and were comfortable with and would last. I think these guys would make the most improbable best friends, even if they didn't end up as a couple.

If you read challengers it's even more screwed up because in challengers it was shown Morinaga is not like that and is a good guy but then here he does the very thing he claims he won't. Instead he proves the twisted stereotype souichi believes to be true right. It's like Nowaki from Junjou Egoist raping Hiroki. I still like the story but I wish she didn't do that to Morinaga.

I respect your opinion but he doesn't rape him...he just take advantage of the situation itself and for THAT he felt sorry,so he apologies and confessed his feelings for Senpai...and if you read it you can see that the second time they had sex it is with senpai total permission and concent,BECAUSE WE ALL WHO READ THIS MANGA KNOW THAT SOUICHI TATSUMI IS IN LOVE WITH MORINAGA TETSUHIRO ;) despite of being a homophobic...but with the time and the love that Morinaga feels for him he will acept , for the moment he is more tolerant, kind and cares a lot for Mori n.n.
Well, that's my opinion,my way to see this couple and his relationship :)
    I love this couple,there isn't other like them <3

This is probably off-topic, but when Nowaki raped Hiro-san?
It's been a while since I read Junjou Romantica, but I don't remember this...

Yooooo why bring nowaki and hiroki into this conversation. Nowaki has NEVER raped hiro. What manga are you reading? XD I'm pretty sure you're mistaking the egoist couple for romantica. Anyways, senpai does eventually fall in love morinaga. Even if he never specifically said it. It shows through his emotions and actions. I could write an essay on the topic, but i'm too lazy. Hahaa. Stockholm syndrome plays such a huge role in yaoi manga, it's terrible. I've seen countless scenarios. But either way, it's purely fiction/fantasy. ^^

Yeah, that's why I asked, because I can't remember Nowaki raping Hiroki. And just for the matter, Usagi didn't raped Misaki on the first chapter, as long as I remember, of course.
About Koisuru Boukun, I'm Reading and I don't really like the blackmail thing, but I really like the way this mangaka writes, so I'll keep reading. I just don't understand why people come and say they hate the manga, I mean, if you don't like, just stop reading this one and read another, like I already did several times (and I believe everyone did too).

    @Yuu
Haha, exactly. Well to me, it was basically borderline rape with usagi and misaki. (The first time they had sexual intercourse.) He did tell him countless times to stop, lol as always, because he was scared but usagi continued anyways. I agree, i think it's fine when people voice their opinions about a certain manga just as long as they don't go around hating on it and the people who enjoy the content. :)

You guys misunderstand me. Nowaki is a sweetie. He would never do that. My point was Morinaga was a sweetie too and yet the author made him a rapist when in challengers he was not like that. It was a comparison.

I'm just sticking with my headcanon that Morinaga was drunk because I refuse to believe he is one of those rapist seme. It goes against his character.

    Anonymous February 4, 2016 7:53 pm

exactly! what he does goes against what he's "supposed" to be, so he turns out to be very different...
And sorry, but that was clearly rape there. He certainly took advantage of the situation and of Souichi. Not hating on anyone, just saying.

Technically It wasn't rape the second time. Senpai had a choice. He chose for Morinaga not to leave and for that to happen weeeeeell u get the idea

It's called the Beauty of Beauty blackmail

I'm pretty sure people are discussing the first time not all the rest which Souchi flat out admits he could have refused. I doubt many will argue with you on that one when there's a page where he blatantly admits as you say.
