is it just me that when people share their "hardcore" list, i laugh? my thoughts are always, "they think this is hardcore?" and then laugh cause i'm pretty numb to even the worst yaoi out there. and i barely consider those ones hardcore anymore

Ah, the joy of numbness. I think it's just if there's a couple pages of sex, they consider it hardcore. I'm more of a rough, graphic sex lover (*ahemMakiMurakamiahem*), but even those aren't too hardcore anymore. The only work of hers I'd consider hardcore is the Kanpai dj with the blood and cutting and weird stuff that I somehow find hilarious. But yeah. TomCat's are quite graphic too. But it's probably the ones with blood/extreme gangrape that I might consider hardcore nowadays.

It's weird that I remember being grossed out by graphic scenes, but now, it's sometimes disappointing when good artists don't draw them. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

It irks me a lot and i see cases like those around here so i just leave it so i won't get annoyed all the time. Also, there are levels of hardcore yaoi before it became a softcore. It's not about 'personal preferences' but porn still has it's standard and people just ignore that and call it whatever they like. The solution i made for mine is to create a separate list an call it smut then place glaring warning allover my hardcore list. The hard ones i've read lately are usually bestiality, gang rape and mind break
