Isn't it your choice? If you're interested, give it a try, if you get bored in the middle, give it up, no need to read 800+ chapters. Your mind knws, it'll tell u if it likes what it's doing, just follow it
maybe try to read the first 200 chapters and then read the 200 last chapters. or read it while skipping some parts. there is a one piece wiki out there, you can look things or characters you don't know or forgot up there if you are skipping some parts.
okay, i'll try reading it all. 'cause i don't really like skipping parts, makes me wonder if I missed something.
Did you follow all One Piece anime until now? If yes then you can start anywhere you want. Coz I do that. Honestly I only read a view chapter from start and skip through, I only read the part when I don't really understand what happen.
First of all I only watch One Piece anime from the television then it got cut off and I never follow after that. The last time I watch it is the enies lobby arc and stop from watch or read any of them. I start it again is in marineford arc, and it's quite long after the enies lobby arc but I can still follow the story so far. I only go back a view chapter when brook join just that.
Well it's only from my own experience.
But if you want to read from the beginning I promise you there's nothing gonna waste at all coz I already reread from the beginning about 2 or 3 times.

Ah, one more thing! Even if you skip part, believe me, you won't missing anything coz the anime have the same thing as the manga.
It's worth it. All the changes in the manga. The painful memorable parts. Even the most pointless randomness in the manga. It's all worth it. I've watched the whole anime(and counting) & the whole manga and not skipping is actually the best choice.. At least for me... Because it makes it feel more complete.... Idk satisfying?

So i've been interested in reading the manga for some time now but i'm asking myselfif it's really worth it. You see, one the one hand if i read the manga i would have to read from the beginning but i' m not really into the idea of reading 800+ chapters but on the other hand i really am interested in the manga. What should I do? :-/
