If you look past the art (which is gorgeous by the way, although some will argue that it's too feminine and such, but yes, different tastes), you'll see how there's really a story behind the whole BDSM concept. I think the fetish/kink was there to add flavor/variety and to be the ground, as common point as well where it is the denominator between all of them. This manga has feelings behind all the physical aspect and while some parts depicts a bit of frown-worthy plot, it's most stories' flaw. Maybe some lacks in development but the idea is there. The meaning was conveyed or so I feel. For me, Master's story is the one that left the most impression simply because it is Master. And while his story was very simple, it is in fact the most realistic. I am not satisfied as how it ends because I'd love some things to turn for the better but that's for individual happiness. I guess being in Hoshi no Yakata is the best thing for them as of the moment. They relish in each others presence and there's definitely love and comfort and TRUST between those inside their circle. Maybe this is what they're looking for. I think most of them are content and in peace. This is definitely a good read and has a lot of feels/emotion.
