Katsuragi was an immature ass. I don't think I would have forgiven him. He held a fucking grudge for 15 years, what the fuck... he was an adult, he should have gotten over it. If he really loved Yuuki, he would not have subjected him to all that. I love my sadistic semes, but he was just intolerable and juvenile. Yuuki honestly deserved better. He is one of the purest characters I've ever encountered; he truly cared about everyone else more than himself. I'm glad that there was a happy ending eventually, but there was not enough character development for me to justify the ending that was presented. I mean I cried like a baby throughout the story, but Katsuragi had a vengeful mentality almost all the way to the end of the manga. He would have kept on raging if his mother didn't tell him the truth. He wasn't even willing to forgive Yuuki at any point when he was trying to be genuine. Most characters would have realized that their love could overcome anything, especially their past, but he was dense as fuck. The plot had such great potential, but I just felt unfulfilled at the end. I kind of wish Yuuki ended up with his senpai.

Mass killing revenge flicks have started for less than what Katsuragi thought happened to him.

He believed the love of his life left him in the middle of nowhere in a goddamn blizzard to die.

No one told him otherwise. They kept it from him for all these years. Every single person was culpable and they didn't care that he held this rage in him for 15 years.

That's not normal shit. That's 'I will hate you until the end of time and hunt you down' revenge shit.

I'm surprised he forgave everyone else involved. Yuuki was just a kid and hurt and his life was ruined and probably thought he deserved everything b/c he endangered Katsuragi.

Exactly. I really don't like the mother. She was forgiven way too quickly. There's even a scene where Yuki goes (oh it's not anyone's fault, not father not auntie...) and I was like What!

You hit the nail on the head. The aunt knew what she'd done from the get go and she also knew the hatred her son harboured for Yuuki all these years. That's why she was so surprised to hear Yuuki and Katsuragi were living together. She knew what was up and she ignored it. She only speaks up when she does because, IMO, she knew her new place at Yuuki's father's side was in jeopardy when she saw what was about to happen to Yuuki. Her son's revenge put Yuuki in that predicament and her lies were at the root of that revenge. If his son was brutally gang raped, all the sordid details of how he ended up that way would make their way to Yuuki's father's ears. Making oba-san quite the "bad guy" and likely unwanted as a life partner. Personally, I don't think she has ever done anything to benefit anyone but herself. A child doesn't become like Katsuragi when they are loved by their parents. Yuuki is a prime example of what I mean.

    Agreed.

I would not have been able to forgive the aunt. That takes a special kind of hatred and cold indifference to actually do something like that Yuuki and then to keep it secret all these years.
