I've learned to not get angry because I never know WHY it has been left unfinished. I'm sure when they started this project, they had no intention of leaving it unfinished, but perhaps life drastically interfered and the scanlator experienced a tragedy, or a medical emergency, or the group fell apart for that or some other reason.
I know of at least 3 mangas I dearly love that will NEVER be finished because the AUTHOR died - 1 of cancer, 1 in an accident and another of a sudden illness. When I learned the reason, all the nasty comments people were making about the author being neglectful and lazy were suddenly hurtful to read. I could only imagine how such ignorant anger would come across if read by their friends and families and I realized I - whose only investment of effort was to pull it up and read it compared to the hours upon hours required to write and/or prepare it for my perusal - really had the wrong attitude. Instead of grumbling when uploads ceased, I needed to be grateful when they don't (and I need to say so), and such 'abandonments' needed to become my reminder to pray for those whose lives have problems I know nothing about.
In the mean time, I readily admit I'm very wishful uploads will start again when any crises is over (or authors/scanlators realize their 'obligation' to readers if they just lost interest) or that another group might pick it up and complete it.
I agree for some of the awesome Manga there are still ongoing but in other sites they have more chapters of those ongoing Manga but you would have to pay and also other countries have this Manga out
Oh, granted, there is that side of it too, and we have no idea if someone has just failed to upload it, or there has been an agreement made over the rights to display it (and a some payment in return) or what. Copyright is a huge issue in the USA, and a mere letter can get an entire series erased from a database over night. I suspect the way copyright is handled may vary from country to country though, which might explain why it is still up in one place but not another, but I don't know enough about the scanlation/upload process, however, to do more than guess. I just know I'm grateful when it DOES happen.
Ever heard of licences? If you are not sure look on baka updates they tell you. You can buy the two volumes of this manga online as ebooks.
So tired of people starting to upload a manga and then never completing it. I'm sure the manga is out and possibly even done by now, but here this sits since 2012! With one chapter.
