Wait hang on! I didn't quite understand the afterword. Was Waki in love with Rikiichi? Or Magane? Cause the whole story seemed to show only a sense of loyalty toward Rikiichi. Am I wrong?

i think Waki was first in loved with Rikiichi but the mangaka might want to show that he had moved on with his and Magane's story...
