thats true, Ren means Lotus in Japanese. let just hoping the Wandering Samurai role still open so we could see them act together, that would be great.
I just hope it really was supposed to be a clue to let us know that Ren will play alongside her. And that Nakamura-sensei is not just teasing us, making us think so only to let us down in the next few chapters.
I just realized something thanks to a Skip beat fanfiction. In chapter 234 page 17, Kyoko says that the Ronin is described as a "lotus": "though it lies in a filthy environment, it is pure". In the fanfiction i started just 15 minutes ago (the title is"Letters of my life" by Neheigh Fluffydoodle), in chapter 11 the author said that Ren means Lotus: "It grows in muddy water and rises above the surface to bloom with remarkable beauty. [...] Untouched by impurity, the lotus symbolizes the purity of heart and mind." Now someone please tell me what you think of it. Is Nakamura-sensei playing with us again ?
