Nah. For stories like these, I'd like the one who's in a one-sided love to just find someone else. It's already hopeless, the guy is married, and obviously straight. So why not fall in love again? For real this time, not just pining. Maybe someone better is waiting just around the corner and all what was needed was for the guy to finally turn away from his first love to find them.

The married guy should stay happy with a lovely wife and a best friend who cares about him. He's lucky to have both of them.

I agree with the person above.
Also, I think the fact that they didn't end up together makes it more memorable and bittersweet. If they did end up together, it would feel too cliche

Well it's not about cliche or not, this is yaoi where we see 2 men end up together and eitheir story develop, at least a rejection is needed. The last chapter is shoujo a man is getting married and his best friend got feelings for him like where is the BL in this one T_T he should at least be hinted that the best friend is gay or something. We came here to read BL/gay stuff, this story is pointless lol. Also in cases like this I wish for him to find someone else.

It IS bl, the main character likes a guy and the story is centered around a guy loving another guy. It may not have any actual gay scenes but it is centered around gay romance, which is what BL is.
I wouldn't say it is shoujo at all, since the guy getting married isn't even the main character, and there is NO straight romance shown. If it was shoujo, there would be some scenes with the groom and the bride being lovey or whatever.
And I don't think it should be hinted that the friend is gay, since he isn't. This is more realistic compared to 90% of yaoi out there - in real life, if a gay guy falls in love with a straight guy, chances are it'll remain unrequited love.
I've gotten sick of all the 'everyone is gay and everyone will find a boyfriend' endings.
But yes, I wish there could be an extra of him meeting another guy, Even if it won't actually show them get together, I would like SOME sort of hint that he will find another person to love

Lol, sorry I was mad at the story that I ranted. I was expecting BL and had this and had this BS of a guy getting married like wth :D
I read many Yaoi where a gay falls for a straight but he finds someone else or even we follow him a bit to see how he lives his life and what are his choices or at least trying
I know gays who don't try to hook up with guys at all they just keep it for themselves. It's heart breaking not even trying to like someone once at least and being reciprocated
The mangaka tried to make some deep shit and it ended up a tasteless piece IMO

I personally loved it, I could sort of relate to it. I would definitely not call it tasteless but that's a matter of opinion

I would have liked it, if there was anything to it. .... As you said it's a matter of taste :)

I agree completely. The married guy should live happily with his wife. And his friend find someone else to be happy with, doesn't mean they can't be friends, just that he should let go of his feelings and find true love.
