Can every antagonist we encounter stop making or trying to make moves on Aki sexually? I know it's yaoi and Aki is very attractive. He's cute, sexy and beautiful at that but for every male antagonist to be attracted to or to touch -want or attempt to- Aki is ridiculous. It's so painful to see over and over again even if Aki isn't too affected by it. Can Aaron finally be the different one whose goal is just to assassinate Aki and nothing more?? So far we have Fei long, Yuri who felt some sort of way I guess?, Mikhail who felt him up during Hong Kong, Sakazaki, and Sudou. Please sensei, no more :(

I'd rather see Aki getting beaten up or wounded

    Lightasus May 25, 2016 1:46 am

Dunno, I thoroughly enjoy it, and sensei probably does as well xD

I get what you're saying, but Sudou's motive for molesting Aki was different. It wasn't about wanting Aki at all but more about trying to prove that Aki would get off for any man, not just Asami. And then just using Aki as a jerkoff tool. And Fei just wanted to be inside Aki because Asami had been inside Aki. Not that any of this makes it any more pleasant for Aki or those who aren't into the rape fetish. But it does make for some variety in the reasons why Aki gets assaulted. You have to give sensei points for creativity.

I 100% agree with you. I prefer to see him wounded.

BUT what can we do since it is porn manga, not shounen manga ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄

Maybe it has nothing to do with sensei's creativity, but with the market law. Rape fetish and similar sell well, in spite of other people's preferences. I would like to see something different, but it depends on the author -and most probably on the publisher.

I get the feeling yoai editors sit around glancing and storyboards and saying, "Yeah, but when do we see his bum?" I don't think they care why we see his bum.

I was responding to the OP's comment about everyone wanting to rape Aki because they're attracted to him, which I don't think is accurate. Given the number of sexual assaults in this story, the fact that there are so many different motivations is pretty creative, regardless of the reasoning behind including so much non-con stuff.

I have the same idea too. They don't care about the reasons, they want only to give people what they are expecting from this kind of stories (flesh/bum/bang), in spite of everything else. (=・ω・=)

It's part of a mythical-fantasy at play. Akihito is irresistible. He is so alluring that no man can resist him. Not even the powerful Asami.

The drawback to this is that he is frequently subjected to... (*pokes Lightasus*) sexual harassment.

Yes, the fact of the different motivations are very creative, but I had the feeling that the author is pushed to represent the sexual act figuratevely in that way, like it or not.

Why are the editors always blamed for stuff people don't like/understand? xD

Because editors are inherently suspicious. In gross generalizations, writers and artists are free spirits who I have been assured fart rainbows (or drink a lot of whiskey--I always forget which). Editors--well now, that's the dark side of the industry. They have deadlines and need to monetize content. The only thing worse would be marketing executives (*shivers*).

It's the magic of the market law that allows books like the 50 s.o.g . to see the light and bore us to no end. In my case, I found that book casually translated in my language in internet...and was the solution of my insomnia. The publishers need to sell.

Who knows why some things become popular? That's why I think "Marketing executive" and "crossroads demon" are pretty much the same thing.

Fart rainbows* This is fantastic. I live in a permanent state of semi-hallucination, but without whiskey. (≧∀≦)

They know so well the market and things that can be appealing for the most part of people. It's hard to admit, but sex always sell.

Mmmh, sure, but sensei also wants to please the most people as possible aha. They only help her achieve that, and it's not like she's not enjoying it anyway. Whether the idea to make everyone *cough* sexually harass him *cough* comes from her own personal preferences or not (probably, it just seems to be her style, but who knows I guess aha).

But hey, I'm one of those who wouldn't have it any other way aha.

Poor sensei. "Beat me, whip me, make me draw Aki's bum naked!" Must be brutal. Do you think the editor wear glasses? Maybe he is a bit like Kirishima.
