they are tho. it's just the seme (son) does not want to believe it, or try to deceive himself but he'd eventually accepted the reality and that's what made the ending till the omake dark and painful. the "curse" and the guilt will haunt them all their lives but they can't help the inescapable loop that happened. that's basically it.

I can't help but cry. I feel so sad for them. 'Til the end, I was kinda hoping that they're really not father and son. So I felt that this is still somehow incomplete for me. I have so many unanswered questions. That was one hell of a story. I've read a lot of incest but this blew me away. It was so heartrending that I really can't help but cry. I still hope that they're not really father & son. Just saying.
