Disappointed with the new drawing style

Mixtress Bathory May 27, 2016 5:11 pm

Apart from the story being pretty much stuck in the same ol' shit. (except with Kyoko's mom situation), the new drawing style don't look attractive at all. Ren lost the attractive and Kyoko looks boring. Fans should write to the mangaka and ask to keep her original style. not real development and a boring new styles that sucks will disappoint many, many readers and drop the manga. >.<

Sorry, I accidentally pressed annoying. While I do agree about the story being stuck in the same old shit, I may be in the minority, but I actually do prefer the newer art (for the most part) than the art in the very beginning. >_< But each their own. :)

hehe don't worry about the annoying thing. I'm an old internet user, so stuff like the likes, annoying, etc., and other trends of today's (the masses) internet users, don't mean anything to me. ;) Actually I find it amusing when they hit the annoying >:)

I respect your opinion about liking the new drawing. Myself I don't because they lost the attractiveness that hooked most of the fans. :(. It feels like those tv series when the good looking actors stop working one of the lead characters, and they had to hire another actor to play the character. lol

That's a relief. :) I do think what I like about the newer drawings is that the body's are semi-more proportional. Looking back though, I liked the facial features more so then. The art has certainly evolved from Nakumura's Tokyo Crazy Paradise days. >_<

That's exactly what I totally dislike about the new drawing, the facial features!!!! I don't mind at all the body. But the facial features. I was even shocked with Sho, how he looks now :(. The facial features of these characters made a distinctive signature and we loved how the males looked. Now that distinctive signature is gone. And also some of the funny facial features when Kyoko has her moments changed :( I wondered if the mangaka hired someone to draw for her because she is too busy or any other reason. some mangakas do that. I wish the facial features and expressions go back ;)

On the contrary, I think the art looked better. Don't judge the mangaka.

And i think the reason with the change in Sho's appearance was necessary since he's kinder/more mature (but I still don't like him) in the manga right now. His change in hairstyle gives him a softer demeanor, if you understand what I mean.

and i think regarding their 'relationship', of course Shou still wants Kyoko to focus her attention on her, but he also doesn't want her to be sad/broken anymore. He really loves her (although he can't have her anymore, Kyoko belongs to Ren :P) so I wouldn't say he's still as bad as before.

Oh sh*t, now that I look at it, my first 2 sentences sound so harsh. I'm sorry, I do respect your opinions :) It's just I think it's actually hard for mangakas to draw even just a chapter, so I think we should respect that and not comment unreasonable or insulting things.

yes my opinion and most fans. when you don't like what an author do, specially when it's not helping at all, you let them know and yes critique.. supporting an author whatever they do just because, doesn't make you a more fan or loyal fan but a fanatic person.

And my comment is about the new drawing style, the facial features exactly, since I don't mind hairstyles, clothes, etc. since it's obvious they have to change from time to time. I'm not talking about Kyoko's relations nor any of the characters. Your comment aren't harsh, but fanatical. changing facial features it's a killer, period.
