Idk why some people think he's annoying, I think when he's around the manga atmosphere kinda changes to a different thing. Like, it's not all battles and stuff.

Let them say what they want to say about him, as for me I don't find him annoying at all and your right about the atmosphere changing when he's around because he's a chef his battles are preparing ingredients that he or Toriko finds.
