And your comment didn't sh!t on anyone, including the mangaka. You explained why you thought the author was deviating from the actual story without giving any rhyme or reason to the narrative. And you probably read as far as the rest of us did, trying to understand how and why she came down this long and winding path, leaving you none the wiser like the rest of us, right, eh?
The story started off nicely, the humor was fantastic, even though the art was meh (the amount of yaoi hands was insane, but it was back in 2004 so I didn't mind much). Well... the story kinda went off track after the seme's half brother's story, I mean, did the mangaka seriously have to give all the characters a stories? The story just gotten even more confusing at the "mermaid" part, I didn't even understand a single thing about the masion part.
It has been 12 years and the main couples hasn't gotten anywhere, they didn't fucked, they didn't get married, of course the seme still has to be a complete doughbag, of course their relationship ended (again), but common dear mangaka, why did you have to spent the latest 5-6 chapters for the seme's half brother's friends, like... WHY... Wasn't all these extras about side characters was supposed to be AFTER the main couples story? I... I just don't get it, 58 chapters and the main couple story could have been finished in the first 20 chapters.
I'm not angry at the mangaka, I would never shit on a person's hardwork, I just don't understand why she is going this way with her story.
