    They said the son of a witch (Kaylus's dad-Hansel) cannot have a child, which makes Kaylus a miracle. And I think the girl that the magicians made Hansel mate with had the blood of the gods in her, making Kaylus's birth possible.

    From what i understand they meant Kaylus couldn't have a child, because he couldn't find love. He as born with a frozen heart. So the Fairy Queen wished that he would find someone he can love and live a true life. Then, Skyla exists so BAM, a baby. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

    what about the following: Lorelei was a witch from an old German fairytale placed at a river called Rhein. In China the name Lorelei stands for the godess of storm (Bou Fung Neoi San) so this could be an explanation why Kaylus has the blood of the old gods.
