I can see what you mean. But many people say his brother was from Gosan no Heart. I personally think it might be Udon. They just give me similar vibes.
But if Udon was his brother, then he would have two older brothers... I'm going to be that person walking down the other path thinking that his older brother is the cool barber.

I don't think either of those two are the older brother, mainly because they have different surnames. Maki Souichi, Udou Ryuuta and Takada Yuushi.

Udou's full name is Ryuuta Udou, so that makes Udou his surname, which is not the same as Maki's. And the other one, as you mentioned in your latter comment, his name is Toshihisa Miki, which is another different one, so he's not Maki's brother.
