@hinas_meatbuns it is stated by isayama that levi relationship to erwin, is like mikasa relationship to eren. It's ackerman's thing. They like to work under a special someone, something like nature of ackerman family that serve as royal guardian. The difference is, now they work for someone that they choose. It's up to you. If u're think mikasa x eren is only family, so does with erwin. Feel free to decides, but people no longer deny that Erwin is super important to levi, because we knew that Eren is mikasa's VVIP.

@hinas_meatbuns yes it is stated that levi once in a moment fallin in love with a girl named mary. Is there any "late in his thirty man" that never fallin in love before? And that mary now is Nile's wife with two (or three i forget) children. But nile also stated that erwin choose Titan over Mary. Feel free to decide. I think it's totally out of character to depicted erwin as a sappy man who could never forget mary after she had three children. Titan ans their theorems is always erwin's number one. And the one that can help him achieve it is levi.

i know, i read it all. i do think that eren and mikasa are only "family" at least from eren's side because he's all about protecting his friends, family, etc. i'm not denying that erwin is important to levi because i know he was but loyalty and comradeship isn't equal to love.

Something that start from "i hate the blondie" and transformed into their relationship now,,, well fell free to label it as "loyality and comradeship", i just can't see it as one. Just remember, besatsu is shounen magazine, yuri like ymirxhistoria is acceptable, but yaoi relationship is kinda rare in shounen demographic.
