and that scene when jing went to find lu and knelt on the floor. i really wish the manga was continued just so i can see him cry, like i can't imagine it at all. but the novel was amazing, it was my first and it got me interested in reading similar stuff (with emperors and things like that)

Lu cang loves Jing he realized this when Jing went away for like two weeks I think and came back with jing's uncle. Cang accidently evedrops on Jing and his uncle it turns out Jing loves his uncle and used him as a replacement And rapes him in front of the uncle. After that day he was going to go to jing's asking him for the antidote. Jing wasn't there but the uncle asked for cang and when cang went inside he found out that uncle was tied to the bed the uncle asked cang to kill him in exchange for the antidote cang agrees and gave him a pill. But the pill was harmless cang took the antidote and left the palace he almost made it but Jing caught him ( don't except anything from here) he said that cang killed the uncle and threw him to jail after beating him up when cang woke up Jing appeared and told him he was going to be a live sacrifice to the heavens cang wasn't affected by his words Jing was pissed and raped him. Cang tried to kill himself but the uncles daughter stopped him after admitting that she kill the uncle to him
U could read the rest on wattpad it's so sad but the ending was good (⌒▽⌒)
