Feels like I'm the only one on Team Sinbad. What's with the antagonistic feeling toward him by ppl? I feel like sinbad is a much better and we'll developed characters than the MCs.

I'm surprised the former Sinbad supporters haven't realized what the mangaka is going for. Sinbad is by no means evil, but everyone else is so busy looking at the obvious situation, that they failed to break down the story and realise what's really happening. From the start it has been stated that Sinbad is the miracle of the world, he is indeed the true king that Yunan spoke to Aladdin about. Sinbad is a lover of everyone, he sees none different from others, he is someone who will take on the responsibilities and burdens of everyone no matter how big or small it is. And for that reason he is willing to paint himself as the villain if his actions will save everyone. He told Alibaba that he wants to rid the world of all the anomalities, wars etc that currently plague the world. And he's been working on this since he was a child, he knew that Al Thamen was the main driving force behind the darkness of the world but once he saw what really happened in Alma Torra his understanding of what really needs to be done was amplified. I think by seeing Solomon's decisions and actions he realized something no one else at the summit was able to see and ever since then he's been on edge on what to do since Solomon's decisions unintentionally and ultimately lead to the destruction of Alma Torra and Sinbad knew the same fate awaited their current world if something isn't done. Sinbad has probably been walking on eggshells for quite a while now, and it probably got worse after seeing Alma Torra's fate but because he's this calculating man, no one has been able to figure out what he's up to and that's probably why he's actions seem antagonistic to others. I think the mangaka might be leading Sinbad down the same path as Lelouch from Code Geass (a tragic hero) hopefully he survives though. So for those of who are jumping all over the place about him being evil, re-read the story and really try seeing the bigger picture and have faith in our boy. Everyone needs to stop comparing him to Aladdin and Alibaba, because those two really lack at being main characters (just saying)

    P. S what if Sinbad being the one true king and Aladdin ultimately becomes his magi. Also Sinbad being an anomaly has nothing to do with being connected to David, he was born to save them (if anything he might end up like Solomon)

I feel that alibaba (whom I adore sorry) will probs be who takes over for sinbad as King. That just seems how the story is going. Like he would be like sin without the half depraved/David thing. Aside from sinbad, his character development has been the greatest. I mean, prince of thieves, to dungeon conquerer, he "died", came back pretty amazing, all that. With that said, I have faith in sin cuz just because he has David, he doesn't want to do things his way, but he does show questionable behavior sometimes snd maybe arba and David might do something bad. I also disagree with Aladdin not showing growth. He's been through a lot as a character. Sinbad though is the most compelling character of anybody definitely

Haha. I think that Yunan is the magi of Sinbad. And the character is too good to be true. Also, you can see that he's not so right by the reqctions of his surroundings. Especially Yunan. Oh, and I also think that the message from the author is that you're born to be perfect or not. That's why Alibaba is the MC. Because he is human.

As Kogyoku says, Sinbad's not all bad.
The only point that the MCs disagree is that he insists on making the world one by his being the only king. Aladdin feels that everyone should live by their own free will, and Sin's ideals somewhat conflicts with this.
    Here's what Aladdin says: http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/magi/bt/magi/316/pg-16/
    and I agree!
As far as I can see by the past two chapters, Sin's motivation comes from fear of losing peace. I think it's time for him to let go and stop shouldering the world on his own. He's not God nor perfect.

Sin just didn't realise his pride is getting in the way of his own ideals. If he realise it (hope he will) then he won't be the villain anymore. But now his pride prevents him from seeing how great what he put into motion is (peace, freedom, no more poverty...). His goal is achieved already.
