Nah I think it's just cause people are impatient to get to the sex but they still want a little romance. Me, I prefer it when they build up to it. The longer it's stretched out, the more exiting it gets. Like how candy tastes best when you save it for a special occasion. But I'm a pervert so I do enjoy rape in yaoi when there's no plot and it's just fap material. Romantisizing rape is a no-no for me.
