My sis knows that i like bl but she only knows that i read shounen ai not yaoi, infact i've been keeping a secret that i'm a die hard yaoi fangirl. I'm not comfortable telling my mom that i like bl so i just shove it in the rug.
Im not open reading yaoi with my family and also with my bff. I think if they know about me reading yaoi....it will be worst for my life tho. It's hard. I really want to share the best yaoi that i have read with my bff...but i cant. Hahahaha.... Damn my life... ><
Same when I find a really cool yaoi I get excited and want to tell someone but then I get sad knowing I can't tell them

My mom tried to read a yaoi novel once but it was not her thing. She didn't say that she dislike it but she prefer watching shounen anime like Naruto.. Hahaha
My whole family don't know that I read shounen ai or yaoi cause its really hard to tell them since I'm a guy. But all of my friends know and we exchange recommendations of good yaoi/ shounen ai manga followed by a fun conversation and exchange of opinions from time to time.
