Ik he said that, n then he was out in the wood around the beginning of the story, but had a knife around the latest chapters so idk how those situations match to be like the one when he said I should never gotten caught in the first place while holding a knife n in the woods? I'm so confused
It's a dramatic technique that you may see in kdramas or similar stories. They start art some dramatic moment (or some seeming dramatic moment (a knife near the throat/tattoo, the snow falling for effect, the haunting words) then BAM flashback...and you have to keep going back again and again till they get to the point where they explain it, and by that time they will have several other subplots you will need to see resolved, so you will keep waiting for the next part.

As ar as i understood he was talking abt his feelings for lucaon.
So it's not because kyon is spy and betrayed lucaon.
I highly doubt Kyon would ever hurt Lucaon on purpose.
Yeah I get curious, is kyon want to run away from lucaon? The knife he holding isn't a sacred knife to kill the pureblood.
may be he was unable to bear the torture that's why he was trying to cut his slave's sign with that knife.This is a mere assumption , gotta wait 2 months to see what the authors actually planned :D :P
Why would he do that, when he could just quit and have it removed like everybody else?

*Shrugs* Kyon's a servant, not a slave, and Ryan and Karis would help Kyon if there was an issue, and Kyon knows it. Up till now, Kyon's been the one always pursuing Lucaon, and Lucaon's biggest threat is that if Kyon won't do as Lucaon wants, Kyon can go back to his room. It's seems to me like it would have to be something more than what we have already seen--But I guess we'll see.
I think something will lead lucaon to distrust kyon. Logan may play a part in this ....
I think so too--or someone will get to Kyon and make him think Lucaon will go zero. I guess we'll see.

who knows? In chapter 19 it seemed like lucaon was drunk after taking kyon's energy.I don't know if he loves him or not but he sure seems possessive.
