Ellie basically live in the South and Humpty Dumpty in the North, those two bestfriends only met when they Master having BloodLord Party or gathering. So there is no way Ellie would have know what is going on in those time Humpty Dumpty missing. But still, he send him letter but Humpty Dumpty never opened his letter. in one of those letter, Ellie even ask him to elope together with him to the South along With White Bones.

the exemple u gave has nothing to do with the situation in which hupty dumpty is.

there were tons of humans who have gone trough that though, don't see anyone of them trying to actually kill whole races or nationailities, nor would anyone justify that.
it's not about understanding why he does it but trying to justify it and see the fault only in the vampires. if he's just as bad as the people who did all this to him, he is in no way morally better either. it's maybe not his only his fault, but he is responsible for what he does. he himself chose to take revenge, instead of trying to save himself or others.

and yes the example is correct, who are you to decide that raping is worse than being abused in another way? every victim suffers differently, and modern studies suggest that mental abuse can even be worse than body harm. so yeah, we don't know how much hitler suffered when he was 3 y/o and beaten bloody by his father, repeatedly, but i think we can all agree that hitler was mentally sick, my point is that being mentally sick and the reasons that made you that way don't mean you can walk around and kill tons of people and it's okay. and humpty plans to kill all vampires, not just the one who made him suffer, even though he knows that not all of them are bad.

vampires on one of shown parties in the story were in the pools filled with blood. human blood.
most of them treat humans as disposable trash.
i think it's completely understandable why he is acting like that. and it was expected, like thats how 'villains' in manga always do. even having vampire as a comrade. my guess is that that guy is truly evil and just wants to see the world burn. and also hurting the ones he should protect (like that little poor art) ╮(￣▽￣)╭
