Bara guys tend to be bulkier as well. But I like my men to have meat on there bones.

it is said that,men(or particularly gay men) dont like it when BL stereotypes.... where seme is manlier n handsome and uke is pretty.....they want men to be men ...so everyone is same n bulkier

dunno this is true or not, but so far i see yaoi focused more on story, but bara more too the image. i mean yaoi have a bitter sweet story that ve so much feeling but bara more to the muscle or D**k. tough not all of it like that but most the time i can feel the different that bara have more significant point in body of the character. and for more rough point bara focused on sex scene while yaoi more too the love feeling.

nah i think ur the one who read few, bara not yaoi subtype. if u say it's sub type mean yaoi include bara. ur wrong there. tough both ve gay relationship. bara not yaoi, like coco said. that way there 2 genre, bara and yaoi

I recognize them as two genres, but I also consider bara yaoi. And when I said you'd read few I meant that many bara have more to their plots. Granted, I've only skimmed for my list.

than u read my comment wrong i said most of yaoi more to the story while bara to muscle line. and also i said what it's more focused, i don't said bara don't ve plot and yaoi don't ve muscle etc. i just said bara focused in more muscle and man body while yaoi more to romantic feeling.
