I was wondering that too....but I think it might be so that the kid doesn't question whether or not he's theirs because obviously two men can't make a baby. I assume the sister carried the child for them and that the mom (chicken) probably wants to be thought of as his birth mom. The sister probably also doesn't want the kid to know she's technically the birth mom.
Is he wearing the chicken costume because he doesn't want his son to know he's a man? That's both hilarious and so sad.. ╥﹏╥
